Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and today we're taking a quick look at the coupler pin. This has a diameter of five 16ths of an inch, so it should work for those coupler latches that have a five 16th inch opening. This is going to keep that trailer latch secure or your coupler latch secure so you don't have to worry about it coming undone while you're out on the road. As far as the pin length, it's about two and seven eighths inches long, but for our usable length or where it meets that keeper, it's just shy of two and a half inches. If you stretch that keeper out a little bit, we'll give you a little bit more room there.
There's some flex in that keeper spring. The total space between our pin and the keeper is about one and three quarter inches. Overall length about three, about three and an eighth inch, and then about two and a quarter. The steel construction does have a zinc plating, so it should resist any kind of corrosion and that's pretty much all there is to it for our coupler pin. If you need a different configuration, we do have a lot of options available here at etrailer.com, so definitely check them out.
Thanks for watching.
